Erika Ching, one of the owners of Buns Out, shares with WhenInManila.com that the idea came to them randomly during the time of Jungkook’s birthday. “We had this random idea of selling his abs in bread form! Then from there, we decided to continue it on with the other BTS members!” she says.

Ching and her co-owners/fellow ARMYs spent the pandemic bonding over BTS, and this shared love for the K-Pop phenomenon ultimately led to them having started their own business!
Ching reveals that it was difficult to spread the word about their passion project, but it ultimately blew up through social media thanks to their witty and unique packaging. Any certified ARMY will surely want to get their hands on these buns!
Buns Out lets you enjoy Jimin’s “cheeks” (mochi buns), Namjoon’s “chest buns” (meaty char siu buns), and Jungkook’s “abs” (Hokkaido milk buns).
