Yassi Pressman has officially signed off from the longrunning show FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano where she starred as Alyana Dalisay, the wife of Coco Martin’s character Cardo Dalisay.
On the episode that aired on January 25, longtime viewers were shocked to have learned that her character died after being caught in a crossfire between Task Force Aguila and a Black Ops unit. It was later confirmed by Dreamscape Entertainment on their Instagram page that Yassi was bowing out from the show entirely.

“Dahil sa ‘yo ay naging makulay at masaya ang kwento ng buhay ni Cardo. Mula sa pamilya ng #FPJsAngProbinsyano, maraming salamat, Yassi Pressman,” they wrote on their post.
Yassi’s sister Issa also posted about the character’s death on her own account which Yassi shared on her Instagram stories. “So proud of you, Yass,” Issa said. “Love you. #FPJsAngProbinsyano”
The show as well as Yassi and Coco’s characters went on to trend on social media that evening.
Ang Probinsyano has been airing for five years now and continues to gain popularity even after its shift to the Kapamilya Online Live platform following the shutdown of the ABS-CBN Network.
