“Saan aabot ang vacant mo?” (How far can your vacant [time] get you?) – this was captioned through a photoset in Facebook by student Marwin Lee N. Revelo. His photos reveal of him in his school uniform with iconic tourist spots in Paris, France – which include the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Arc de Triomphe.
The post has received thousands of comments and likes, majority expressing amusement.

“One day, sa sobrang haba ng vacant ko (with a lengthy vacant time), I decided to go to PARIS-tern University,” he responds with a pun.
Did he purposely decide to bring his uniform abroad? Marwin shares that he came from school straight to the airport.
“Literally from school pa ako nanggaling na may white shirt at FEU pants na [nakabaon], pero yung polo ko nasa bag lang din!”
(Rough translation: I literally came from school with a white shirt and FEU pants packed, my school polo was just inside my bag also.)
The Mechanical Engineering student mentions that he went on vacation to Paris for the upcoming Holy Week.
“[Andito] kami for Holy Week pero Wednesday pa yung start [ng bakasyon namin]. [I] already took my quizzes (dalawao) in advance na din para it’s ok lang na wala ako sa class, para legit vacant na din!”
(Rough translation: We’re here for Holy Week, but our vacation still starts on Wednesday. I already took two of my quizzes in advance so that it’s okay if I miss the remaining days of class – also, to ‘legitimize’ my spare time!)
