Are your tastebuds looking for something new to try? We’ve got quite the recommendation for youโsomething that will surely tickle your tastebuds and fill your tummy as well.
Karayama, home of what is dubbed as “Japan’s crunchiest fried chicken”, just launched its new crispy chicken burger. The Yukari Burger is their version of the Japanese-style chicken burger, and wow, it isย soย good!
This Japanese chicken burger features two large pieces of Karayama’s signature Japanese fried chicken, a hearty serving of lettuce, and deliciously flavorful sauces, all sandwiched between fresh and fluffy buns. The Yukari Burger is available in two variants: the Gokudare Burger which features a sweet garlic soy sauce and mayo; and the Taru Teri Burger which has the perfect combination of tartar sauce and sweet teriyaki sauce.

We actually couldn’t choose our favorite between the two because both flavors were so good and absolutely addicting. The Gokudare Burger has stronger flavors, but I loved being able to taste all the tanginess, saltiness, and sweetness in one bite. The Taru Teri Burger is definitely milder, but with the classic tartar and teriyaki sauce, it’s like the familiar taste of home with every bite.
The Japanese-style fried chicken, or karaage, was also so crunchy and flavorfulโwe couldn’t get enough of it!
Aside from the amazing flavors that you get to enjoy with every bite of these burgers, the massive serving is also something to look forward to. With two huge pieces of karaage and massive buns, it’s so filling. You’ve essentially eaten a whole meal with just one burger. Starting at PHP 199, these Japanese chicken burgers are worth a try.
While you’re already at Karayama, you should also try their signature karaage dishes. We realized that they really weren’t kidding about their claim of being “Japan’s crunchiest fried chicken”. Their karaage was truly the crunchiest and crispiest I’ve triedโevery crunch was absolutely addicting.
Their menu features karaage sets with a variety of sauces such as kimchi, Japanese-style tartar sauce, and ginger sauce. These are perfect to try if you want an extra kick of flavor to your crispy karaage.
We’ve got your weekend food trip covered! Try Karayama’s savory Yukari Burgers and crunchy karaage and you’ll most probably be back soon for more.
