It’s a great year to be a musical theater fan. Just this year, we’ve seen a lot of beautiful local and international shows staged in Philippine theaters. Next year, we’re sure to see a whole lot more.
On Sunday, at the closing performance of “Walang Aray”, the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) announced their upcoming production: “One More Chance: The Musical”.

The show will be an adaptation of the Star Cinema film of the same name and will feature music from the nine-piece band Ben&Ben. The famous Filipino band even gave a surprise performance at the announcement of PETA.

Of course, the announcement and surprise performance gained loud cheers of excitement from the audience.
We can’t wait to see iconic scenes from “One More Chance” played out in front of us in live theater. Add to that the heartfelt songs of Ben&Ben and we’re sure to have tears streaming down our faces on opening night.
“One More Chance the Musical” is slated to open in April 2024 at the PETA Theater Center.
