It seems that there’s a great possibility that dating rumors between The 1975’s Matty Healy and Taylor Swift are true after the pair was captured holding hands while at a restaurant in New York City on Thursday, May 11.
“A Swiftie’s dad took this picture just a couple minutes ago and she sent this in our group chat. Matty and Taylor are together – confirmed!” a Twitter user announced, sharing the picture in question on her account.
Taylor’s frequent collaboration, Jack Antonoff, and his fiancée were likewise seen in the photo.

Rumors that Matty and Taylor were seeing each other first surfaced when an unnamed source told The Sun that they are “madly in love” with each other, despite only going out for less than two months. The insider also alleged that Matty and Taylor had “briefly dated” almost 10 years ago “but the timings just didn’t work out.”
The source further claimed that, unlike Taylor’s ex-boyfriend of six years Joe Alwyn, who wanted to keep their relationship private, the new couple is very much eager “to ‘own’ this romance, and not hide it away.”

Just recently, Matty was spotted attending one of Taylor’s shows after The 1975’s two-day concert in Manila. It can also be recalled that Taylor made a surprise guest appearance at the band’s show in London’s O2 Arena where she sang their song “The City” as well as “Anti-Hero” from her most recent album Midnights.
Matty’s last known relationship was with FKA Twigs. They broke up after three years of dating in June 2022.
