He said that the program, which he will co-curate with writer Erwin Romulo and director Teddie Co, will be part of this year’s Art Fair Philippines which will take place on February 21 to 23 at The Link Carpark, Makati.

“I intend to show people a lot of good Filipino films. It’s gonna be fun,” he added in his tweet. “More details soon, but let me just promise you guys that we’re going to try to do things with this program that you’ve never seen before.”

The program is set to feature a selection of feature-length and short films ranging from experimental, documentary, to animated movies to highlight the diversity of Philippine cinema. It will be in line with the celebration of 100 years of Philippine cinema.

Phil also announced that an outdoor cinema screening will be held the week before Art Fair Philippines at the former Philippine Stock Exchange on February 14 to 16—perfect for your Valentine’s Day date!
