It’s a rare sight to see!
With the enhanced community quarantine in effect for close to two weeks now, the air quality in Metro Manila has significantly improved, according to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).
With this, the Metro Manila skyline has been clearer, making nearby mountains visible.
Teddy Reyna took photos from his abode that showed mountains from different directions.
Reyna told When In Manila that he took the photos between 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM.
“Still not sure with the Zambales mountains though. Still not sure if it’s Natib (Bataan) or some Zambales mountain, maybe even Pinatubo,” he added.
He posted the following on Facebook.

Before, I can only see Montalban (Rizal) to the North East and Mt. Mariveles to the West (during sunsets). Now I can even see the span of Sierra Madre (not just Rizal) and the Zambales mountains (seems like Pinatubo based on a topo map) to the Northwest, with the bonus sighting of the Manila Bay breakwater so vividly! And my personal favorite, the mountain I can only see while driving along NLEX going to our home province, Mt. Arayat in Pampanga!
Now if I can just go to the Southwest part of the condo…

During the enhanced community quarantine, certain guidelines are implemented such as strict home quarantine in all households, suspension of transportation, regulation of basic necessities, an increased presence of uniformed personnel.
President Rodrigo Duterte ordered the enhanced community quarantine of the entire Luzon for one month in a desperate bid to prevent the further spread of the new coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
