This is their first intimate photo taken together since confirming their relationship on September 26. Although they were hesitant to put a label to what they are, they did admit they were currently dating.
Many fans and followers of the new couple expressed their support in the comments of the photo.
“OMG! Finally nagpost ka narin ng pic niyo. Kilig kilig ako,” one fan gushed.
“Derek is all-time crush! But I love Andrea, too, she has a good heart! Perfect together for me. All the best for both,” another said.

Meanwhile, plenty of others rejoiced that their romance has become official and hoped that the two will eventually get married.

Derek’s last girlfriend had been Joanne Villablanca. They were together for four years before separating in June 2019. Derek has repeatedly denied that Andrea was the cause of their breakup.
