You can never go wrong with a flat lay of mouthwatering food. Even with just one photo, we instantly fell in love with this Instagram page called @unit_416.

Unit 416 is an online space dedicated to sharing quick recipes accompanied by a minimalist flat lay of the resulting dish. Married couple, RJ and Tris, loves cooking and eating as a way for them to bond and strengthen their marriage even after spending long hours of working in the advertising industry.

“Initially, the page is a way for us to record our recipes and the happy memories we have while eating/prepping our food.”, the two shared; but then, with creative vision and skills up their sleeves, the page naturally became a space for food lovers, photography enthusiasts, and even cooking newbies.

????????: (puts the milk in pan with honey and cinnamon and brings to a simmer. puts sourdough slices in a flat dish and pours milk over. turns them a couple of times so they can soak on both sides. ????????: Samgyupsal . Marinate pork cutlets in salt, pepper, garlic powder and sesame oil. Rinse cilantro stalks and lettuce leaves. drain and chill in the fridge. Fry up the pork cutlets until golden. Cut into strips. Fry fresh shiitake mushrooms in butter. When we asked why they share recipes online, they answered, “The page is a way for us to record our recipes and the happy memories we have while eating/prepping our food. We live in a cozy condo and we cook with just a single induction stove. Even if our recipes are usually just good for 2, we decided to post our recipes online as a way of sharing the enjoyment with others, even if they’re just photos and recipes.” The couple also shared that they are open to food and product reviews. 

????????: Rice Cooker Chicken Rice. (Bow) . ????????: (marinate chicken thighs in vinegar, soy sauce, garlic powder and pepper overnight. grind garlic, ginger, onion, sesame oil and a pinch of salt together. sauté the mixture with two cups of washed and drained white rice grains. coat rice cooker pot with sesame oil and layout ginger slices on the bottom. pour sautéed rice into rice cooker. put chicken thighs on top of rice. pour 2 cups chicken broth. press cook. once rice is cooked wait 15 mins for chicken to cook thoroughly. take chicken out of the rice cooker and fry til skin in crisped. plate. post. eat.) . ????????: Rice cooker chicken rice.
