Camila Mendes and Rudy Mancuso are officially engaged.
The Riverdale star shared the happy news on October 25, 2025, posting sweet photos of the proposal on Instagram with the caption: “engaged to my best friend.”

The announcement quickly drew love from fans and fellow celebrities alike.
Vanessa Hudgens, Phoebe Dynevor, and Mendes’s Riverdale co-stars Lili Reinhart and Vanessa Morgan joined in to celebrate the engagement.
According to People Magazine, the engagement was a total surprise. Mendes had been told she was attending a birthday party for her producing partner, Rachel Matthews, only to discover it was actually a surprise engagement party where Mancuso proposed in front of their family and friends.
The couple went public with their relationship in November 2022 after she shared a cozy Instagram photo dump that featured Mancuso kissing Mendes on the forehead. They met while working on Música, which Mancuso wrote and directed, and have been together for three years.
In a recent Entertainment Tonight interview, Mancuso expressed his admiration for his fiancée: “Cami is the best person I’ve ever met. She’s my best friend, she uplifts me… her work ethic is even stronger than me. I don’t think I’ve ever been with someone who inspires me this much.”
The engagement is a sweet milestone for the couple, who have kept their relationship grounded despite the spotlight. Fans are thrilled to see them take this next step together.
