LOOK: Bong Joon Ho is Releasing a Graphic Novel for ‘Parasite’

Fans of the Oscar Award-winning film Parasite will finally be able to see the creative process that went behind it because director Bong Joon Ho is releasing the storyboards through a graphic novel format!

The book, which has already been released in South Korea, will be fully translated to English under Grand Central Publishing and will include 304 pages of storyboards drawn by Director Bong himself.

“Director Bong’s illustrations share the illuminating power of his writing and directing, making the ‘Parasite’ graphic novel a gorgeous, riveting read and fascinating behind-the-scenes glimpse at the making of one of the best films of the year,” said Grand Central Publishing senior editor Wes Miller in an official statement. “The result is an all-new way to experience the vertiginous delights and surprises of Bong Joon Ho’s deeply affecting, genre-defying story.”

It will be available for sale beginning May 19, 2020.
