LOOK: A Ray of Sunshine on a Rainy Day

The simplest acts of kindness can sometimes be the most memorable ones.

On rainy days, we tend to look at the bad stuff happening around.

Traffic, flood, commute hassles, disrupted classes just as you arrived after battling the weather, nearly all of us only end up seeing those things.

On these hassle rainy days, a simple ray of sunshine will definitely be greatly appreciated and I’m sure the students of the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health have their own dose of sunshine despite the bad weather.

Meet manong Don-don.

Pia Babao Guballa posted the photo above on Facebook and this was her caption:

“We came out of class today to find that Manong Don-Don had just finished carefully taking all the rain drenched umbrellas, tying them up, and arranging them by color so they would be easy for the students and doctors to find. There is literally a little rainbow at ASMPH because of him. If you’re on campus today, please do thank him for his efforts!

Imagine that!

If I were a student of the ASMPH, I’m sure I’d be delighted to see this. Such a kind kuya you are, manong Don-don!

What’s your ray of sunshine on a rainy day?
