Two of today’s greatest artists have just recorded a song together, all for a good cause.

Sam Smith and John Legend just released a collaboration for UK Red Nose Day 2015. In the video released just today, they sing Lay Me Down for the benefit of Comic Relief’s yearly fundraising effort. They are to perform the song live on the event’s culmination entitled ‘Comic Relief: Face the Funny’ on BBC One, Friday, March 13th.

March 13 is Red Nose Day. Launched in 1988, it is an annual fundraising event by Comic Relief all for the benefit of those in need across Africa & the UK. Notable artists that have been involved in this project in the recent years include Melanie C, Craig David, Rowan Atkinson, and Sir Elton John.
