I write this with a very, very heavy heart. I just heard the news and it is still so surreal to me. David Bowie has passed away. Yes, the David Bowie. The man who has brought so much joy and happiness to the lives of many.

January 10 2016 – David Bowie died peacefully today surrounded by his family after a courageous 18-month battle with cancer. While many of you will share in this loss, we ask that you respect the family’s privacy during their time of grief.
I have been a fan of David Bowie since I watched the Labyrinth when I was four and his music has shaped my life in a way that not a lot of people in today’s generation may understand. Heck, even my dad doesn’t quite understand it.
Sadly, this is not a hoax. 🙁 Rest in Peace, Major Tom. Check ignition and may God’s love be with you.
