If you ever wanted to learn a new skill while in quarantine, it’s not yet too late. You can now learn calligraphy with Muji’s FREE online calligraphy classes.
On three Fridays this month (May 8, May 15, and May 22), New York calligrapher Sam Teich will be holding online classes on IGTV. The first session on May 8 will be about creating handmade gifts for mothers (perfect for Mothers’ Day!).
On May 19, Shinah Chang of Crooked Calligraphy will hold Muji’s first Zoom workshop. The lawyer-turned-calligrapher will be holding an online, 30-minute calligraphy class. According to Muji, you’ll be learning the basic strokes of calligraphy and applying faux calligraphy techniques to create uplifting message cards.
But that’s not all Muji is offering this quarantine. Last May 1, they also held an at-home meditation class on their Instagram. It was a simple, 5-minute, at-home morning meditation to guide you through your day.
For more information, you can visit Muji’s social media pages.
