Wilson in San Juan has always been a haven for food trips. Whether you are looking for Filipino food, Japanese food, Chinese food, or any other types of cuisine; you are sure to find it there. Another addition to your San Juan food trip should be La La Fun Land. They serve comfort food with a twist and at reasonable prices.
La La Fun Land is the perfect place to have dates in, whether with your special someone or with your family. It is also a good place to hang out with your friends after school or after a long day at work. They can seat big groups and the seat by the window is a really good spot for you to chill and relax.
The first thing we got to try were the Buffalo Poppers – chicken rolled into cute balls with spicy buffalo sauce and melted cheese inside.
The Sisig Lumpia is one of my favorites from everything that was served. It has the traditional bean sprouts, but has delicious sisig, too!
If you are hungry, we suggest you order the Rocket Shrimp. The pasta is creamy and a little bit spicy. It is topped with breaded shrimp.
During our visit to La La Fun Land, we were lucky enough to try their newest offering: the Chicken and Waffles. This isn’t on the menu yet, so you will have to request it. The waffle is topped off with breaded fish fillet, bacon and tasty gravy. The serving is big and can be shared by two people.
If you fancy burgers, the Chori Burger is pretty tasty. The patty is made from scratch in the restaurant and is very flavourful. It is served with a side of thin potato fries.
Most of La La Fun Land’s Food is perfect to pair with shakes and the restaurant offers a number of shake flavors. One of the most special flavors is the Brazo Shake, which is perfect for those who love sweets. The base of the shake is custard, topped with brazo de mercedes, whipped cream and caramel.
I personally loved the Ube Shake. The sweetness is just right and it is perfect to pair with the burger.
Your sweet tooth will truly be spoiled by the s’mores. It is very traditional and served hot in a skillet. It can be shared by 2-3 people and is very fun to eat.
If you like comfort food, La La Fun Land is the place to be. They have amazing food and the events held at the restaurant are always fun. They have DJs and 90’s music events that everyone will surely enjoy.
