Kylie Verzosa and Carlo Aquino are going to star in a new film together as revealed in the former beauty queen’s Instagram post.
Kylie shared pictures from their meeting with director Philip King last August 24 as well as a short clip of herself reading from the script.
She also revealed that the project’s title is “Elevator.”
“New project coming soon,” she wrote in the caption before tagging Rein Entertainment Productions, which is behind the movies “Nananahimik ang Gabi,” “Betcin,” and “Bagman,” and her management VIVA Artists Agency.
Kylie will also be starring in the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival entry “Penduko” alongside Matteo Guidicelli. Meanwhile, Carlo’s most recent films are Dwein Baltazar’s “Third World Romance” with real-life girlfriend Charlie Dizon, which premiered in Philippine theaters two weeks ago, and Carl Joseph Papa’s “Iti Mapukpukaw” which was named Best Film in the Cinemalaya 2023 awarding ceremony—the first animated feature film to ever garner the win.
