Kylie Padilla has officially addressed the news surrounding her former partner Aljur Abrenica courting his “Nerisa” costar AJ Raval months after their highly-publicized breakup.
Kylie first made headlines for “liking” the photo a netizen took of Aljur and AJ holding hands at a shopping mall. She then spoke up about the couple to her “Kylievers” group chat, finally clearing AJ’s name as the alleged mistress who caused Aljur and Kylie to split.
“Yes, I just want to confirm hindi nga si AJ ang third party (that AJ is not the third party),” Kylie said to her fans.
She later said that she wanted to move on from the issue and expressed her gratitude for their continued support.
“Gusto ko na mag move on. Hehehe. Pero thank you sa love and support. Naappreciate ko kayong lahat sobra (I just want to move on. But thank you for the love and support. I appreciate you all very much),” she wrote.
It can be recalled that Kylie had already opened up about the rumors that Aljur is reportedly dating someone else through a tweet back on October 1.
“Guys, there is no issue. We separated April pa, and we have already mutually agreed to date other people. Please stop dragging other parties into this. I have no intention of disclosing any more of what happened because I want to cherish the littlest ounce of privacy I have left,” she said.
AJ later admitted that she and Aljur are on the “getting to know” stage and that the actor is courting her the “old school” way. She also revealed that Aljur has met her parents and that it’s possible for them to become a serious couple.
