Kuripot Ka Ba? This Hilarious Video About “Thrifty” Friends Will Make You Laugh Out Loud

Going on vacation usually involves a lot of money. You need to pay for your transportation, room accommodation, food, and souvenirs. Most often than not, the common issue of delay is where to stay: the place is either expensive or too far from the tourist spot.

But what happens if you have a limited budget and traveling as a group? Sadly, we end up either staying at home or dreaming about traveling to awesome places like Palawan, Bohol, and Siargao! Good thing there are places that understand the need for clean but cheap room accommodations such as Dormitels Ph.

So, I was browsing YouTube when I came across their funny channel about being thrifty or “kuripot” in Tagalog.

Surfing, as we all know, is a popular activity in La Union and Siargao. But how to get there if you don’t have enough? Well, this is what the video is all about: you spend on memories, not on accommodation! Watch the hilarious video below:

“Selfie” video, on the other hand, is also hilarious! I could actually relate! I know a few friends (and I’m guilty at times) that they’d pick a background and crop it to look like they’re somewhere else!

As described on their website, Dormitels PH is a concept combining dormitory accommodations with budget hotel services. Hence, the double sized beds supplied with fresh linens, clean towels, and basic toiletries. Furthermore, Dormitels caters to backpackers, transient travelers, and practical vacationers seeking no-frills but clean and comfortable accommodations.

In both videos, it demonstrated the Filipino spirit of being jolly, resourceful, despite not having enough. If you need a good laugh today, watch their videos on YouTube or see below:
