Kris Aquino has made it known to the public that she has requested her former beau, Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste, to end their communication as she feels her life is “more peaceful” now that they are apart.
In her Instagram stories, Kris shared screenshots of her text message to Mark, saying that she no longer feels the need to continue their contact and to keep him in her life.

“Marc, aren’t you tired of unanswered messages? It took me two weeks and a half to feel that I no longer really feel the need to keep communication lines open with you,” she began her text.
“Whatever is going on in my life or in yours, parang nawala na the desire for me to know what’s happening with you or for me to keep you informed.”
She then clarified that she hasn’t been “influenced by anyone” to send that particular message but that she gained such realization after spending her quiet time reading and “coping with the hardships” of her illness.
“I want to remain polite but this is really what happens when we are so far from each other—people really do grow apart,” she continued. “Thank you for keeping in touch BUT I’d really prefer if you don’t. It’s really a lot more peaceful now, and that’s always been my prayer. Serenity and peace.”
She did not show Mark’s reply to her, but the screenshot shows that he had indeed sent a response.
In a separate Instagram story, Kris wrote another emotionally charged open letter lamenting her failed relationship and how her heartbreak just added to all her physical pains.
“Was I asking for too much when I asked for our relationship to stay private? Mahirap ang pinagdadaanan ko—I don’t wish this on anybody,” she said before talking about how she will soon receive a higher dosage for her medications.
She shared that she has barely slept because of the pain but that she is inspired to keep going by all those who have undergone chemotherapy and are now okay.
“Pasensya na po, I’ve been so careful about staying ‘private’—I never posted details,” she added. “Ang problema, nagising ako sa katotohanan na kung talagang minahal ako, at alam na sumuko na ako sa LDR, bakit hindi kinayang ibigay ‘yung katahimikan na kailangan ko for my emotional wellness, lessened anxiety, and my chance for a peaceful healing journey?”
Kris and Mark’s relationship went public last May but had to take a “pause” when Mark had to fly back home to the Philippines.
