Looks like fans of KPop Demon Hunters might have something to look forward to soon.

The first KPop Demon Hunters film became Netflix’s most popular movie of all time, amassing over 236 million views since its June release. Its soundtrack also made waves, becoming the first to land four songs in the Billboard Hot 100’s Top 10 at the same time.

Directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, the animated film follows K-pop idols Rumi, Mira, and Zoey, members of the girl group Huntrix, who secretly double as demon hunters protecting their fans from supernatural threats.

With catchy tracks like “Golden,” “Soda Pop,” “What It Sounds Like,” “Your Idol,” and “Takedown,” the movie quickly captured global attention and became a hit among fans of both animation and K-pop.

No official announcement has been made yet, but if the talks push through, KPop Demon Hunters 2 could mark a major comeback for the Huntrix trio.
