Kim Seon-ho Cries on Stage as He Apologizes for His Controversy

Late last year, Kim Seon-ho was involved in a controversy that led him to take a break from doing Korean dramas.

Despite his K-Drama break, however, Seon-ho is now part of the play Touching the Void in Seoul, where he made his first public appearance since said controversy. Apparently, he came on stage with a handwritten apology before the play’s press con. In it, he said, “I am really sorry and apologize for sharing this at the press call event. Many people worked hard from this spring to summer to make this play. I feel like I have caused a hindrance to everyone so once again apologize to the team and everyone.”

By this time, Seon-ho started shedding some tears as he continued, “I am truly sorry for causing concern to many people with bad news. Looking back, I have reflected a lot on my shortcomings. All I can say is that I will put forth the effort to become a better actor and a better person. I am sorry.”

Touching the Void will run until September 8, 2022.
