Kim Chiu is making everyone’s jaw drop as the latest calendar girl for a local liquor brand.

During its successful event launch on November 20, the actress was asked by the media about her reaction to being the liquor brand’s newest calendar girl.
“My initial reaction, of course was shocked, I asked myself if I was ready to do this. A lot of people know me since Pinoy Big Brother tapos I grew up in front of their eyes,” she said to the media, adding that “it’s about time” for her to try something else.
“I feel empowered,” she added. “I feel like this is such a powerful moment for me.”
The award-winning actress also shared that this milestone is a testament to how much she has grown in the industry: “I believe this is a testament to how much I’ve grown and how far I’ve come not only as an artist, as an individual but most especially as a woman.”

Kim became a mainstream name in the entertainment industry after she won the first local teen edition of “Pinoy Big Brother” in 2006.
Apart from being a regular host at “It’s Showtime,” she starred in two successful television series this year. She made a solid back-to-back acting performance in “Linlang” and “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?”
Kim is now joining Julia Barretto, Heart Evangelista, Ivana Alawi, Bea Alonzo, Kylie Versoza, and Jessy Mendiola in the roster of actresses who became a calendar girl for the popular beverage brand.
