Kim Chiu also revealed that she met Aki, the infant with a liver disease whose father went viral for selling banana cakes to raise money for his operation. She also shared that she donated her first YouTube salary to help with Baby Aki’s liver transplant.
She explained that the post was not meant to boast, but to express her gratitude to her YouTube viewers and subscribers. She also said it was meant to raise more “awareness” for Baby Aki’s condition, and “makadagdag pa sa tutulong kay baby aki (get more help for Baby Aki).”
She ended her post with a quote: “we cant choose the life we want to live in but if we believe and keep that faith in him, he will do wonders for us. just believe, give thanks and never give up. remember the cycle of life, you are not always down, if you are down there is no way but up.”
Happy birthday, Kim!
