Kawaii in Manila 2: The First Ever Convention for Kawaii Japanese Lovers!

Everyone super loved the fashion shows, too! Each collection from the Kawaii, Lucy Pop and Harajuku Fashion shows boasted their own unique Kawaii style. The models really rocked the outfits! I’m even thinking of trying to wear them to school sometime. Haha.

Of course, the search for the new ambassador and ambassadress of Kawaii Philippines happened, too: The Ikemen Guy and Kawaii Girl contests! The contestants showed off their talent, wits, and unique sense of style to determine who should take home the title.

Before they announced the winners, founder of Kawaii Philippines Kaila Ocampo gave a very heartwarming message to everyone who made this convention possible. It was a very emotional moment that every person in the room could feel how much heart the organizers put into giving the convention goers an overjoying and exciting day of everything Kawaii.

Finally, the winners for the Ikemen Guy and Kawaii Girl contests were named: Rabin and Gia! They are now the new representatives of Kawaii in the Philippines!

The day was a long but enjoyable one, what with everyone’s smiling faces reflecting as they approached the door to leave. Some even took one final shot at the Instax booth (including us!) for a memory to look back on. We are definitely looking forward to the next instalment of Kawaii in Manila. Spread the Kawaii love!
