Kanteena is a quaint restaurant located in Quezon City that offers Filipino comfort food with a twist. The cozy vibe of the restaurant complements its dishes, really helping you feel right at home.

Here are some of the dishes we tried at Kanteena:

For the appetizer, we suggest you try the Lumpiang Togue. It’s filled with bean sprouts, carrots, and other vegetables. Don’t forget to dip it in the spicy vinegar it’s served with—a delightful pairing!

We couldn’t miss their Arrozcaldo with Adobo Flakes! The crispy, flavorful adobo flakes help balance out the umami flavor of the arrozcaldo. This dish feels like a nice, warm hug, if you ask us.

Kanteena’s Special Beef Mami is served hot with a rich, meaty flavor that will definitely suit your taste buds!

Another crowd-favorite is the Sinigang na Ulo ng Salmon. Nothing says Filipino comfort food more than sinigang, don’t you agree? But with salmon this time, for a little twist. Paired with rice, you’ll surely be asking for seconds.

For a filling lunch or dinner feast, we suggest you try Kanteena’s Blackened Chicken with Jambalaya Rice. It’s reminiscent of our fave chicken inasal, paired deliciously with flavorful Jambalaya rice.

Kanteena’s signature Beef Pares, however, is tenderized to perfection. The aroma of the dish alone was so enticing! We loved it.

Last but not the least, our favorite: the Chicken and Sausage Paella! This is a must if you want a truly satisfying meal with your family or friends. One order is already good for 2-3 persons.
