K-pop star receives backlash after coronavirus April Fool’s prank

April Fool’s is usually a fun time to pull light-hearted pranks on your friends and family. However, people still need to be careful about their pranks, especially at this time. Sometimes, when a prank involves more serious topics, it’s best to avoid them altogether.

One artist who received major backlash from his April Fool’s prank gone wrong is K-Pop star, Kim Jae-Joong. The singer posted on his Instagram saying that he tested positive for COVID-19, causing panic among his fans who were worried about his health.

After he revealed that it was an April Fool’s joke, he was faced with major backlash from several people. Many people weren’t happy with his prank, and the K-Pop star even deactivated his account. After a few hours, he released an apology saying this joke was a result of his “bad judgment” and would accept all punishment that he would get for his post.
