Just For Kicks 2014: A Benefit Show for the Soccer Kids of Ambassador Cups & Tindog Tolosa

What better way to end a tiresome week than a night of laughter for a cause!

JFK 2014 is a fundraising event organized by the fifth year MScM students of the University of Asia and the Pacific.  JFK 2014 presents SPIT Manila, a recognized local improv theatre group who has been making people laugh for 10 years across Southeast Asia with more than 500 shows! Do not miss this opportunity for a well-deserved night of relaxation with us on September 12 and 19, 2014 at the Li Seng Giap Auditorium of UA&P.

Recently, soccer has been giving basketball a run for its money as the country’s most popular sport. The MScM Fifths decided to help out Team Socceroo Football Club in their effort to bring soccer to grassroots communities including Tacloban by bringing the Ambassadors’ Cup to them. The children of Tacloban, one of our beneficiaries through Team Socceroo, would gain much from the joy, discipline, and the transformative power that the game could give. For them, soccer would be more than a mere game but would help relieve the trauma most of these children might still have from the typhoon onslaughts this past year.
