Life finds a way and so, it seems, does the Jurassic World franchise. 26 years after Steven Spielberg’s iconic dinosaur flick premiered, its original stars return for the extended universe. It was announced at a Jurassic World screening at the ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood that actors Jeff Goldblum, Sam Neill, and Laura Dern will be reprising their roles in Jurassic World 3.

Colin Trevorrow, Director and Co-Writer of the upcoming movie, revealed the news last September 24. He guaranteed that the 3 would have “sizable roles” in this installment, unlike the cameos and small roles they played in the previous ones. As the final chapter of the Jurassic World trilogy, it is only fitting that the cast of actors who made the original so successful come back to see the tale finally come to a close.
Goldblum, Neill, and Dern will be back alongside Jurassic World stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. Emily Carmichael (Pacific Rim Uprising) will be writing the script with Trevorrow. Jurassic World 3 opens June 11, 2021.
