JPIA – University of the East-Caloocan and Sycip, Gorres, and Velayo Co. Presents TWO EVENTS for Accountancy Week

The events “CLASH 2020: What’s Popular?” and “CPA in Transit: Coping Up with the New Normal” are two events that will happen on the same day. It is in line with the celebration of Accountancy Week which has the theme “Filipino CPAs Rising in Solidarity Amidst Challenging Times”. We are all aware that this pandemic is not yet close to being gone and a lot of students are struggling with how to cope up with it. With this non-academic event and seminar, the goal is to inspire and motivate them to study and cope up with the pandemic productively.

“CLASH 2020: What’s Popular?” is the first installment of the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants – UE Caloocan Federation 2020 – 2021. It is a Family Feud inspired nonacademic event where two clans will compete to answer and guess the most important responses to different survey questions related to Accountancy and/or Accounting. This will be held on July 12, 2020 via ZOOM application @ 9:30 am – 12:00 pm.

“CPA in Transit: Coping Up with the New Normal” is a seminar for the students to increase their awareness regarding the different study habits and managing academic stress that comes with studying under the curses related to accountancy. Strategies and tips shall be given on how they could effectively deal with it despite the pandemic stress. This will be held on July 12, 2020, via ZOOM application @ 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. 

 

The two events are open to all Accounting students within the National Capital Region.
