Joyce Ching and her non-showbiz husband, Kevin Alimon, are expecting their first child! The actress happily announced the news on a social media post, revealing she’s now four months pregnant as she showed off her sonogram.
“The start of the year, God placed a desire in our hearts to really start praying and believing Him for a baby,” she captioned. “Was it scary? Yes. We thought about it hard and decided, ‘G, si Lord naman bahala sa atin’. And now, we’re 4 months pregnant.”

On her YouTube vlog, Joyce shared how they found out about her pregnancy in March, describing it as the “longest month” they had to go through. The soon-to-be mom said she was five days delayed when she took a pregnancy test. However, she noted that it’s normal since she has irregular periods.
The testing kit showed a faint line, prompting her to try the test the next day.
“Hindi ko alam kung maiiyak ako or matatawa ako,” Joyce expressed. “Hindi ako makaiyak nang buo kasi faint line lang. Bukas ulit paggising.”
The couple decided to visit an OB-GYN upon seeing a faint line on the second test. But they were told that it was too early to find out.
“Parang medyo meron pa ring parang half-half pa rin kahit nag-positive na sa pregnancy test ng urine,” she explained. “Depende pa daw yun kung magde-develop yung mga something-something.”
Joyce then underwent another ultrasound, which didn’t reveal anything again. On March 26, they confirmed that they were having a baby.
“The baby is here! We are seven weeks and three days pregnant,” she announced.

At the end of her vlog, the actress asked her followers for prayers, “Please keep us in your prayers.” Celebrities Mark Herras, Joyce Pring, Gabby Eigenmann, Megan Young, and Ina Feleo sent them congratulatory messages.
Joyce and Kevin tied the knot in 2019. The actress is known for her roles in “Tween Academy: Class of 2012,” “Endless Love,” and “Broken Vow.”
