Jon Semira and Yassi Pressman called it quits. In a joint Instagram post, Semira confirmed that “it has been a while” since their breakup.
“After an amazing run, Yass and I have decided to part ways. We look to move on to our next phase in life in peace and with the support of our family and friends,” he wrote.
The Filipino-Canadian businessman and basketball player said the breakup was their mutual decision. He also clarified that the third-party rumors were false.

“We wish each other the best and will always appreciate what we had. Our relationship was beautiful and we are both coming out better people because of it,” he added.
Semira concluded his statement by asking people to allow them to deal with the matter privately.
The breakup rumors began when Pressman posted a photo of her hummingbird tattoo with the caption, “It’s nice to be free like this hummingbird on me.”

She also posted a white template on her Instagram Story with the text, “not triple. not double. but SINGLE” [sic]. Netizens even noticed that the actress unfollowed her ex-boyfriend by that time.
Days after her cryptic posts, Pressman was seen getting cozy with Ilocos Norte representative Sandro Marcos during a previous event, which fueled the breakup rumors. According to Nelson Canlas’ report on 24 Oras, the 28-year-old said their interaction doesn’t mean anything.

She is now being linked to Camarines Sur governor Luigi Villafuerte after they were spotted together at an event in the province. Videos of Villafuerte kissing Pressman on the cheek also made rounds on social media. As of writing, the actress has yet to speak on this.
The former couple publicly confirmed their relationship in July 2022 through an Instagram post.
