In a conversation with Boy Abunda on Tonight With Boy Abunda aired on Wednesday, August 7, director Cathy Garcia-Molina revealed that she might be reuniting with John Lloyd Cruz to make one of her last two movies before she finally takes a break from filmmaking.

“He called me po before I started this movie [‘Hello, Love, Goodbye’],” she told Abunda when he asked her if she and Cruz have kept in touch while the actor was taking a hiatus from showbiz.
She recalled how Cruz had reacted when he heard that she was planning retirement soon. He couldn’t believe it.
“Tapos sabi niya, ‘Pagbalik ko na lang, pagbalik ko magkita tayo, gawa tayo pelikula pagbalik ko’ (Then he said, ‘When I come back, let’s meet up and do a film’),” she shared.
“So I am looking forward,” she added.

Garcia-Molina has previously worked with Cruz on the popular romance drama film “One More Chance” and its sequel “A Second Chance” in which Cruz starred in together with Bea Alonzo.
She plans to do two more films before her hiatus, one of which will be a reunion movie between Claudine Barretto and Piolo Pascual.
