Jerah Templo the Bronze Diva Dedicates Song for Yolanda Victims

For my special feature this week, I feel like writing about someone whom I have learned to admire and respect not only because of her talent, but also because of her passion and will which made her into who she is today. Her name is Jerrianne Mae Templo Ritter, more commonly known by her fans as Jerah Templo aka “The Bronze Diva

I would safely say that Jerah Templo is already considered as a “veteran” (though still very young) singer with the countless competitions  joined ever since she was 12 yrs old. You’ve probably seen her in popular singing contests such as “Search for a Star” & “Diz Iz It Kanatahan”on GMA 7 and on X-Factor Philippines in Channel 2.

When I got to meet her for the 1st time during the shoot of her newest single called “Ikaw Lamang,” I was even surprised to know that we grew up in the same neighborhood and even went to the same elementary school. She’s a very down to earth person with a lot of talent in her, waiting for the world to witness! It was after I heard about her life story when I got inspired to step out of my food and travel writing comfort zone and do an actual feature about her.

You see, like most of us, Jerah Templo too had to face a lot of struggles early on in life. Imagine going through nights of very little sleep just to join local singing contests so she can help her parents bring food on the table. I’m sure a lot of  you readers can relate to her like me. Jerah Templo is definitely one tough nut and truly a determined woman. A Filipino artist worthy of support. Her experiences over the years have honed that signature deep alto soulful sounding vocal tones which she is known for and her resilience have molded her to the kind and gentle lady that she is today.

Today, let me share something which Jerah Templo wrote herself. It was a song she dedicated for her husband and step son when they were going through struggles at that time. But now, she would like to share it with everyone to raise funds and spread hope to our brothers who were affected by the recent calamities. The song is entitled “Together, Nothing’s Gonna Fall”

Here’s The Bronze Diva, Jerah Templo‘s message to all….

I would like dedicate this song & profits to the victims of Yolanda – Together Nothing’s Gonna Fall.

Originally I wrote this song for my husband, step-son leon and myself as currently we are going through very difficult times.
It is such times that the Philippines faces today. Words cannot express the horror and sadness I feel witnessing the devastation brought by super-typhoon Yolanda.

My heart goes out to my fellow Filipinos suffering from this tragedy particularly those in Tacloban Leyte, Samar, Northern Cebu and Coron Palawan. I hope and pray that those of you hearing these words were spared the horrors of this tragedy and those who were not – find comfort, hope and peace.

While words are but nothing to this tragedy it is a universal truth that where words fail, music speaks.
Thus I dedicate this song to all victims of this terrible tragedy.

If you could please DOWNLOAD it from iTunes.
Proceeds are going to the victims of Yolanda.

If not, you can also leave me a comment here or message me and I will send it to you for free.

I hope you can take the time to listen to the song and download it on iTunes, so she can raise funds to help the Yolanda Victims.
