Janella Salvador has broken her silence amid the chaos that ensued on social media following her cryptic post on Twitter which many fans and friends of hers assumed was about Star Magic, which had launched its Star Magic 30 catalog last July 6.

The Star Magic 30 catalog was centered around the theme of “star power elevation,” with detailed profiles and glamorous shots of each featured artist to highlight their individuality and personality. Janella, who has been a longtime Kapamilya star, was notably excluded from the catalog’s cover which prompted her to air her disappointment online.
“Ah k. Noted,” she wrote along with emojis of a star and a magic wand.
She later confirmed in a text message to host DJ Jhaiho that her tweet was indeed about the Star Magic 30 catalog. The host then read out Janella’s text message verbatim in a vlog posted on the Marites University’s YouTube channel last Tuesday, July 11.
“Palaban ‘pag tama ‘yung pinaglalaban. Valid naman siguro ‘yung tampo ko (sad face),” he quoted her saying.
DJ Jhaiho’s fellow host Rose Garcia, however, clarified that the catalog does feature a spread about the “Darna” actress. DJ Jhaiho added that the catalog was reportedly “3 years in the making.”
Meanwhile, talent manager Ogie Diaz said that ABS-CBN Star Magic boss Lauren Dyogi intends to apologize to Janella directly for her exclusion from the cover which features the likes of Daniel Padilla, Kathryn Bernardo, Joshua Garcia, Gerald Anderson, Kim Chiu, Zanjoe Marudo, Arjo Atayde, Angelica Panganiban, Enchong Dee, Shaina Magdayao, John Arcilla, and Jane de Leon.
“Hihingi na lang daw siya ng dispensa kay Janella kasi nga sabi ni direk Lauren kasi last minute may nabago sa layout at kailangang magdagdag ng pahina. Medyo marami rin naman daw sila na hindi naisama,” Ogie explained in behalf of Direk Lauren.
