It’s official: James Reid and Nadine Lustre have called it quits.
At the beginning of the year, people were quietly speculating and closely combing through James Reid and Nadine Lustre’s social media. Many fans of the couple wondered if they’d broken up, starting some rumors that circulated wide enough to reach the couple.
Some of these rumors became very personal and ungrounded, prompting Nadine to respond to these rumors saying they were untrue.
But as of tonight on Tonight with Boy Abunda, a joint statement from both James and Nadine came out saying that they had split! They acknowledged that it wasn’t because of the reasons that circulated over social media and tabloids, rather, it was something they decided on maturely together.

While they confirmed the breakup, they announced that they would remain good friends and still work together. Well, that’s a silver lining, at least!
