Singer-songwriter Jace Roque is set to release his debut album titled “Paradiso” under ABS-CBN Star Music!
“Paradiso” (stylized as PARADISO: The Album) is a Pop-EDM album that is 7 years in the making, which began in 2017. It is composed of all the singles he released as an International Artist and the more recent songs included in ‘INFERNO: The Mini Album’. The album will include the high charting hits ‘Sober’, ‘Day and Night’, ‘Casual,’ and more.
“The challenge in creating this album was I had to create standalone tracks that evolved with every release yet will still sound cohesive once the project is finally released as a whole. Songs that are timeless and relevant even up to this day and the years to come,” he stated in a press release.
The title “Paradiso” was inspired by Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy. In Dante’s Paradiso, he recounts his journey through Heaven and begins his adventure in Eden.
“Similarly, with my ‘Paradiso’, I am tackling my fall from paradise and my journey back to paradise. The Eden representation is very prominent in the visuals for the Album Art and concept photos. A concept which I created and was brought to life by the talented celebrity photographer, Raymond Cauilan,” he added.
“The carrier single ‘Casual’ is a new track which ushered in the new era. While the rest of the tracklist will be given new life by introducing it to the local music market.”
Uniquely, ‘Paradiso’ is a debut album that has already spawned 8 hit singles and 7 award recognitions prior to its release.
‘Paradiso’ is now available for pre-order on iTunes and pre-save on Apple Music, Spotify, and more. It will be out in all digital platforms worldwide on May 24, 2024 under ABS-CBN Star Music.
Coming from a showbiz clan, Jace inherited his artistic abilities from OPM stars Gino Padilla and Luke Mejares, and iconic action villain Boy Roque. He also studied acting and went on to do commercials, films, and TV shows.
In 2017, he starred in the multi-award winning movie Across the Crescent Moon, and he has since earned a string of hit singles and millions of views.
