If you left the PETA Theater Center humming “Pangako ’Yan,” or you still can’t get “Luv U 4 Ever” out of your head, here’s good news: the official cast recording of Walang Aray is finally out on Spotify.

The Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) has just dropped a portion of the cast recording of its hit musical Walang Aray, in partnership with the premier audio production house, Soundesign Manila. Fans can now stream the production’s most infectious, laugh-out-loud, and heart-tugging numbers anytime, anywhere.
Written by Rody Vera, Walang Aray is a bold, witty, and subversive contemporary adaptation of Severino Reyes’ classic zarzuela Walang Sugat. Blending slapstick humor, swoon-worthy romance, and biting political commentary, it explores themes of love, resistance, and power—making it just as relevant today as it was in the past.
As the flagship production of PETA’s 58th season themed Love and Power, this staging doesn’t hold back: it’s funnier, sharper, and more daring while keeping its heartwarming Filipino essence intact.

The album features Vince Lim’s award-winning original score with tracks like:

The recording was made possible through PETA’s collaboration with Soundesign Manila, one of the country’s trailblazers in audio production since 1997. Known for its cutting-edge work in sound design, composition, and soundtrack production, the team captured the show’s vibrant energy and dynamic storytelling with expert precision.
“At Soundesign Manila, we believe in the transformative power of music and sound. Walang Aray’s cast recording was a way for us to support the arts and the art of doing original music for theater,” shared Raul Blay, President and Founder of Soundesign Manila.
