It’s Official! Pacquiao and Khan Confirmed ‘Super Fight’ This Year

Despite all the fights that Senator Pacquiao has been facing in Congress, there have been rumors that he wants to add another one on his plate – one that is bound to take place inside the boxing ring again.

The morning of February 26, 2017, these rumors have been confirmed. Both boxers broadcasted via their Twitter accounts that their teams have settled the terms of the fight which will take place on the 23rd of April, this year.

People are already dubbing this fight as a “super fight” since it is a bout between a multiple world champion and an Olympic medalist.

Some are already placing their odds in favor of Pacquiao since he has won his last two fights after losing on a decision against Mayweather. On the other hand, Khan lost on his recent fight against Canelo Alvarez.

In addition, Pacquiao and Khan were former sparring mates under Coach Freddie Roach where Pacquiao has knocked Khan out a couple of times.

No other details have been divulged to the public so far. Nevertheless, this fight is surely one to look out for.

Is this a sure-win for Pacquiao? More so, will April 23 be another traffic-free day?
