ITAnano Orologi: the answer to your prayers if you are looking for a tough watch that you can wear When in Manila or anywhere else in the world, for that matter.
The ITAnano Orologi event was held at Yabu, SM Megamall.
ITAnano Orologi: What’s in a Name?
ITAnano Orologi watches got their names from the country that they were conceived in. “ITA” is basically derived from Italy; and “nano” is basically derived from “nano technology”, which is the technology used in making the carbon cases of each tough watch.

ITAnano Orologi: The Technology Behind This Tough Watch
ITAnano Orologi technology has been around since 2010 when the first carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) case was produced for the ITAnano Orologi Phantom watch. This tough watch was released in the market in 2011 and the first series production came about in 2012.
Right now, this tough watch is mostly made out of CFRP. The body has 13g of carbon materials in it, making it one of the strongest CFRP components in the industry of watches with Class A surface quality.

ITAnano Orologi: What Good is This Technology?
ITAnano Orologi watches all have a carbon case that doesn’t just create a tough watch, but creates a real artistic masterpiece without compromising on weight, as well. Overall, this tough watch only weighs 53g. This means that you will end up with a really tough watch with ITAnano Orologi – one that is still lightweight and still looks great all at the same time.
To achieve the matte finish and case shape, the molds are buffed, too. This involves yet another advanced and complex method in watchmaking.
The case backs of ITAnano Orologi watches are made out of stainless steel, as well, while the side screw and crown consist of anodized aluminium, which helps make the tough watch lighter and more comfortable overall.
While ITAnano Orologi watches definitely look manly at first glance, a lot of women actually buy this tough watch for themselves. If you prefer girlier looking pieces like I do, though, then just wait around a little longer. We were told at the launch that they will be having a lot of other (girlier – yay!) colors coming out soon. And at more affordable prices, as well. (Right now, ITAnano Orologi watches range from Php7,000 to Php17,000.)
Alessandro Baldieri, CEO of ITAnano Orologi, points out that now is the perfect time to pay homage to the cool stuff used in F1 and military jets. This is one of the reasons why they come with such a tough watch to begin with. Designo Italiano!
