Jak Roberto has been dubbed by the internet as the master of anti-jealousy; but in all honestly, is he truly unbothered by his girlfriend, Barbie Forteza, and her onscreen partner, David Licauco’s love team? “Prof. Jak” of “B.S. Anti-Silos” at “Jak Roberto University” was asked about his true feelings on the matter during his recent guesting on GMA’s “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda.”

As curious as netizens are, host Boy Abunda clarified once and for all. He asked Jak, “Nagseselos ka ba? Hindi ka ba nagseselos? Nasaan ka?”
Jak took a deep breath and said, “hindi po ako nagseselos, Tito Boy.” In disbelief, Abunda confirmed, “Talaga? Mula’t mula ito?”
The unbothered boyfriend nodded and answered, “Mula’t mula po.”
As if unsatisfied with Jak’s response, Abunda followed up, “Hindi ka talaga seloso?”
“Hindi po, e,” Jak said.

In addition to this, he mentioned how Barbie isn’t much of a jealous type neither. “Kasi sa’min, Tito Boy, parang, sabi ko nga, kaya nagkataon na pareho kaming arista. Kasi I think kung parang non-showbiz or hindi related sa showbiz ‘yung magiging karelasyon namin, ang hirap talagang ipaintindi.”
“So for me, sa karanasan ko na ‘yung girlfriend ko artista–ako rin, as boyfriend niya, artista–naiintindihan namin ‘yung work namin,” he continued.
While Abunda understood what Jak meant, he dug deeper to inquire Jak’s feelings about fans who continue to ship the BarDa love team. He questioned the “The Missing Husband” actor, “Kahit kaunti, hindi ka naiirita? Hindi ka napipika? Hindi ka napipikon?”

Finally, Jak broke his silence. “Actually, Tito Boy, nalulungkot ako sa mga Filipino mindset natin na… Siyempre ‘di ko naman masisi kasi parang kahit naman ako maging fan ng isang artista, talagang magiging gano’n din ‘yung pakiramdam ko; which is nakakalungkot lang po. Kasi may mga comments na ano, parang, pinepersonal na. Kung minsan, nakakapagsabi na ng mga hindi na magandang salita,” he expressed.
“Pero ako as artista, alam ko ‘tong ginagalawan kong mundo, at alam kong public figure po ako, naiintindihan ko po lahat ‘yon.”
“Nalulungkot lang ako sa mga iba na sana maintindihan nila ‘yung trabaho at saka sa personal na buhay.”
