Independent artist Cloud Jar from Ontario, Canada is set to release his first-ever rap song in Tagalog titled “Cain.” Cloud Jar was born in Tanay Rizal, moved to Pasay City, Mabitac, Famy, and Nagcarlan Laguna, before moving to Canada in 2014.
This song will be released as a response to the hate he got from his “24 bars challenge” video. When he the “24 bars challenge”, it made a lot of noise on Facebook and gained exposure to the Filipino Hip hop community.
As a solo/independent artist, Cloud Jar had to do everything on his own from songwriting, visuals, and marketing. He also collaborated with his younger brother for some of his track arts.
The single will be released on July 2, 2020 on all popular music streaming platforms. The music video will also be uploaded on YouTube on the same day.
