Ikkoryu Fukuoka Ramen: Take A Peek Of Their Non-Ramen Dishes

If you want to play it safe, you will love Ikkoryu’s gyoza. It was like xiao long bao because it was bursting with juice with every bite.

The server also recommended the Chashu Maki, which are slices of tender chashu pork served on top of fresh lettuce with beansprouts and spring onions. Just roll it and enjoy! Letting the kids roll it might trick them into eating the veggies, too 🙂 Another dish that was recommended to us was the Asari Butter – stir fried clams with butter; but, my most favorite would still be Ikkoryu’s Teriyaki Chicken Wings – STILL THE BEST!

A meal wouldn’t be complete without desserts, agree? We’ve sampled some of Ikkoryu’s desserts. The most interesting one would be the Mitarashi Dango – glutinous rice balls with Japanese sweet soy sauce. It was surprising to the palate. I must admit, it is an acquired taste but if you like sweet and salty, you might like this. While I enjoyed the creamy Sea Salt Caramel Ice Cream, my friends loved the Black Sesame Ice Cream with glutinous rice balls and red bean paste 🙂
