Sad news for adventure lovers. The famous Instagrammable millennial museum, Lakbay Museo, announced that it will be officially closing its doors to the public by the end of July 2022.
The picturesque interactive museum first opened in 2019, giving Filipinos a chance to appreciate the destinations, culture, and traditions of the Philippines in just 1,000 steps.
Lakbay Museo provides an unforgettable experience for everyone through the museum’s art installations which depict the famous local tourist spots and the story of each major island through the regional food displays and festivals.
What makes this museum different is that you actually get to interact with the installations and take great pictures. Plus, they also have shows and classic Pinoy food you can enjoy inside.
Lakbay Museo temporarily closed in 2020 because of the pandemic, but the museum took this time to add new installations and change up the look of some areas.
Unfortunately, curious Pinoys and long-time fans of this museum only have a few weeks left to enjoy this one-of-a-kind experience.
