The SM Mall of Asia Arena was packed with excited fans on September 5 as global K-pop star NewJeans headlined the Coke Studio Ultimate Fandom Concert. The crowd cheered and sang along to hits like “ETA,” “Bubble Gum,” “Supernatural,” and “How Sweet.”
Joining NewJeans were Filipino artists from Coke Studio Season 8. P-pop group ALAMAT performed their songs “Dayang,” “Day & Night,” and “Maharani.” Singer Kyle Echarri sang “Pangako,” “Dyosa,” and “Panaginip.” Rapper Nik Makino performed “Sipag Lang,” “Kay Ganda,” and “Moon.” And rapper Illest Morena sang “Slow Burn,” “Pick Up,” and “Faded.”
The Coke Studio artists also surprised fans with collaborations like “Ngayong Gabi” by ALAMAT and Nik Makino, and “Believe” by Kyle Echarri and Illest Morena. These songs showed the different styles of Filipino music.
Another Filipino artist, Zack Tabudlo, performed his hits “Nangangamba,” “Pano,” and “Give Me Your Forever.” He’s known for his emotional songs.
