Holiday Inn Makati’s Flavors Buffet Is Back With New Unli-Grill Nights and Express Meals

When I heard that Holiday Inn & Suites Makati brought back its Flavors Restaurant Buffet two long years after the pandemic, I knew I was due for a visit—mainly for one reason, which I’ll get to in a bit.

Located at the 4th floor Lobby Level of Holiday Inn, with a direct access to Glorietta Mall’s Top of the Glo, Flavors is a casual buffet dining concept that features a local and international food selection.

Flavors offers all that you might possibly want out of your buffet experience. It has a counter for sushi, cheese, and cold cuts, situated right next to an amazing assemble-it-yourself salad bar that shouldn’t be skipped just because it’s your cheat day!

When it comes to main dishes, I have to admit that Flavors is rather modest with the number of food it offers, but it completely makes up for it with the quality, taste, and uniqueness of each dish. I was able to sink my teeth into delicious portions of Ratatouille, Coq au vin, Pot Roast, Baked fish with broccoli in a creamy white sauce, and Carrot Soup.

Of course, no buffet is without a pasta station, soup station, noodle station, grilling station, meals for kids, and a carving station with a juicy Beef Short Plate.

The dining experience was cozy and satisfying, but what I looked forward to the most was the dessert station.

After all, where else will you be able to find the famed Crepe Samurai?

The Crepe Samurai is an iconic dessert that is simply mangoes rolled up in crepes, but I’m convinced that it was created with pure magic. It’s such an addictive treat that, in my opinion, already makes the trip to Holiday Inn & Suites Makati worth it. If it was only up to me, I would gladly eat the whole bowl of Crepe Samurai at the dessert station with no guilt nor remorse—in fact, I’m pretty sure you’d do the same.

Yet another dessert I love at Flavors is the Bread Pudding. Creamy, decadent, and comforting.
