HidN Lounge Is Tomas Morato’s Newest Hidden Treasure

The Tomas Morato Avenue is home to some of the most well-known food and drinking spots in the North. From high-rise establishments with huge signages to small hole-in-the-wall cafes, the whole stretch of this street is filled with all kinds of food spots for every occasion! And while big establishments may be a go-to place for some, many of us actually like the more secluded bars and restos that will make you and your barkada feel like you’re the only ones in the world.

Looking for secluded and hidden bars may be a lot of work, but we’ve done the work for you and discovered one that’s absolutely worth a visit.

HidN Lounge is true to its name because it looks like a normal house outside–we actually drove right past it! No one would actually think that an actual bar was inside it. And not just any simple bar, but one that’s actually quite high-class. It’s a literal lounge that’s perfect for chilling and drinking at night after work. The chairs are comfy, the bar’s packed with various choices of booze, and the dim lights are just right for a relaxing night out with friends.

They even have a loft for when you really want to be secluded from the city but still enjoy a decent bar; or if you and your friends just want to feel like a VIP.

While the interior itself should be enough to invite you in, the food will definitely make your stay and have you come back again and again.

Their wings are definite must-tries, especially the Buffalo Wings and the Garlic Parmesan Wings. Their Garlic Parmesan is easily one of the best wings I’ve tasted; it’s not too salty and the flavor is just right. Even when I said I wasn’t hungry, I found myself finishing the whole order all on my own–that’s how good they are.

Of course, being a bar, they have amazing choices of pulutan. We were obsessed with their Chicharon Bulaklak, which was super crunchy and tasty, and their Red Hot Mozzarella Sticks, whose spiciness on the outside is well-balanced by the oozing cheese inside. Plus, their Sisig is also perfect to pair with a cold drink.

Their menu is actually filled with a wide variety of comfort food. They also have pasta, burgers, rice meals, and even quesadillas! There’s bound to be something on the menu for everyone in your barkada.

They also have amazing desserts–their Blueberry Cheesecake is a must-try.

What I truly loved about HidN Lounge is the super chill atmosphere that doesn’t have to take out the city vibes for all the city lovers like me. They also have a stage set up for acoustic sessions that add to the relaxing mood.

The gorgeous space can also be reserved for private events like birthday celebrations, reunions, proposals, or even just a private party for you and your barkada!
