If you were anywhere near the local drag scene last weekend, chances are you heard the buzz around Shady Brunch: A Live Reading Puksaan—and for good reason. Held on November 29, 2025, the show gathered queens from Drag Race Philippines Season 3 for a fun and fiery afternoon that blended comedy, shade, lip syncs, and plenty of crowd interaction.

The lineup was stacked: Khianna, Angel Galang, Tita Baby, Zymba Ding, Myx Chanel, Popstar Bench, J. Quinn, Yudipota, Versex, and Season 3 winner Maxie Andreison reunited on one stage. On top of that, fans were treated to standout performances from the Drag Race Philippines Slaysian Royale queens—Viñas Deluxe, Arizona Brandy, and Slaysian Royale Superstar Brigiding—rounding out a cast that kept the energy high from start to finish.
Produced by Adonis Prodhouse, Shady Brunch has carved out a niche as one of Manila’s most lively weekend drag events. It’s known for its playful, camp-leaning format: themed performances, comedy segments, and spur-of-the-moment audience involvement. One of the show’s signature bits, the “Pak or Wiz” voting system, lets the audience help decide each round’s standout performer—making the crowd part of the show rather than just spectators.
While every edition is filled with laughs and shade, the heart of Shady Brunch lies in its genuine celebration of Filipino drag artistry. Its regular sold-out shows hint at how much the concept resonates with both longtime drag fans and first-timers looking for an afternoon of entertainment that’s creative, bold, and unmistakably Filipino.
“Our goal has always been to provide a platform for Filipino queer talents to shine,” shared Adrian Sevilla, producer of Adonis Prodhouse. “Through our shows, we’ve opened doors for drag artists and creatives to be seen, heard, and celebrated. It’s about creating space—for entertainment, creativity, representation, and community.”
