The team that will represent the Philippines in the 2017 FIBA 3×3 World Cup in Nantes, France is full of talent.

Making up the loaded squad are two-time UAAP MVP Kiefer Ravena, two-time UAAP Finals MVP Jeron Teng, Cal State Northridge player Kobe Paras, and PBA player JR Quiñahan.

The Philippines only finished in ninth place last year, but the country’s chances of performing well this time in the FIBA 3×3 World Cup, which will happen June 17-21, is good considering all four of them have previous experiences in international 3×3 basketball.

Ravena and Teng played in an exhibition game before in 2015 and Paras is the reigning 3×3 slam dunk champion. Quiñahan, meanwhile, was a member of the first men’s squad to qualify and win in international “street ball” competition in 2002.

How do you think our team will fare against other countries?
